Potential
If the documentary ER is completed with your help, it will open the door to a far greater potential payoff in the selling of the syndication rights to make ER into a feature film. We feel that by making this documentary we will be able to gain interest from larger production companies. Although there have been many stories in the past on high altitude mountaineering and rescue, none have had the emotional impact of ER. Using satellite phones to talk and send emails the climbers were in constant contact with home. As emotionally straining as this was for the climbers on the mountain the emotional drama that each of these family members and loved ones went through is worthy of film in and of itself. In a sense they lived through the entire event with the climbers. This is why we are traveling around the world to interview these family members for the film. This story has a happy ending as Conan has fully recovered and is climbing mountains again. ER is a very exciting storyline and if the documentary is created, the potential for the story line to go to the next level and above we feel is probable.
